In September 2009, a group of Eclipse owners, former deposit holders (myself included) and investors formed EAI which subsequently purchased the assets of the previous Eclipse Aviation. Our first goal was to re-establish service, support and the parts supply chain. Our second goal was to re-start production of the EA-500 aircraft.

We’re happy to report that to date, our efforts have met with great success. Eclipse jets are flying around the world and have accumulated over 42,000 safe flight hours. Our factory and factory authorized service centers are supporting the fleet and our vendors are working with EAI as parts are now available to support the fleet of over 260 Eclipse jets. Eclipse Aerospace provides support and maintenance via our service centers and an extensive network of Eclipse trained mechanics throughout the world.

We’re not stopping there, however. While many other light jets are planned to enter the market in several years, you can enjoy the safety and economics of light jet travel today. Eclipse Aerospace is now offering a limited number of factory reconditioned, low time "Total Eclipse 500" aircraft for sale, complete with factory warranty.
