The Regional Account Executive position is responsible for the management of sales activities from prospecting through aircraft delivery. Account Executive will be expected to identify, qualify and close the sale of Eclipse Aircraft through direct sales activity and identify opportunities for the sale of additional Eclipse products and services. The position is expected to maintain contacts within the industry, remain abreast of competitors’ activities, and/or gather information on relevant sales opportunities/events, as well as, specific laws or legislation that might assist/impede with sales activities. Responsible for all sales activities within an assigned territory and providing support to exceed customer expectations while maintaining a balanced customer and company viewpoint.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Handles account management activities while enthusiastically developing customer relationships
Fosters the identification and qualification of specific sales targets
Represents Eclipse Aerospace at various conferences, conventions and trade shows
Conducts statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of sales goals
Recommends action on advertising, displays, direct mailing, and other promotional material
Manages the overall sales pipeline assigned territory(ies)
Maintains upkeep of the CRM database
Closes sales efficiently and ensures all documentation is complete
Manage the schedule of aircraft demonstrations
BS or BA and 5+ years of Aviation Industry sales experience.
Extensive professional networks/contacts in the aviation community
Prior experience with contract negotiations, revisions and maintenance
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and lead teams to success
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, writing and public speaking
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Knowledge of aircraft and capable of handling discussions on specific technical aspects of aircraft
Working knowledge of the standard suite of Office products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

SimCom Training Centers and Eclipse Aerospace, Inc. are pleased to announce a new Avio IFMS equipped, full-motion Eclipse twin-engine jet simulator now ready for training at SimCom's Orlando, Florida training center. The Eclipse Jet simulator is an FAA certified, Level D, full-motion device. As such, there is no need to operate an actual aircraft in order to complete all training requirements for the issuance of a single-pilot Eclipse Jet type rating or for completion of any recurrent course. In-aircraft instruction following a type rating is also offered for those individuals who require mentor training. SimCom's Eclipse Jet training is approved by all major insurance underwriters.
