Eclipse Aerospace & IS&S Announce an Integrated FMS for Eclipse Twin-Engine Jet

NBAA2010 – NBAA 63RD ANNUAL MEETING & CONVENTION, BOOTH 6667, ATLANTA, GA. - Oct. 19, 2010 – Eclipse Aerospace, Inc. and Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSC) announced today that the AvioNG Integrated Flight Management System will be available for the Eclipse Twin-Engine Jet. Eclipse Aerospace, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, provides engineering, service and support for the fleet of 260 Eclipse twin-engine jets. Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc., based in Exton, Pennsylvania, is a diversified international avionics supplier to civil, military, business, and commercial markets and operators.

The AvioNG Integrated FMS provides coupled LPV approach, Airway / Victor route navigation, RNP (Auto / Manual), holding patterns and procedure turns, parallel offsets, storage for ninety-nine flight plans, user defined waypoints, nearest airports and navigation aids, OBS mode, present and on-route information. The system includes enhanced graphics such as integrated on-route e-charts, e-charts overlaid on the moving map, freezing levels, winds aloft, stormscope display, progressive zooming, and Canadian NexRad / Metars and TAFs.

AvioNG glass panel cockpits supplied by IS&S are installed in over 160 Eclipse Jet aircraft. The system is supported by Eclipse Aerospace Service Centers. AvioNG replaces the AVIO cockpit providing a feature rich system that performs advanced functions such as electronic circuit breakers, complete systems control and monitoring, primary navigation, engine instruments and multifunction display.
